About

Chef Tash was born and raised in Namibia where she first fell in love with classic cake baking and decorating. It was here that she developed her passion for the culinary world and all it had to offer. Upon graduating high school she pursued her culinary studies at the prestigious Food and Beverage Institute in Johannesburg, fully focussing on the realm of baking and pastry.

After graduating from FBI, Tash went on to join the school as a full time lecturer. She later moved back to Namibia to take over as the executive pastry chef at the 4 star Safari Court Hotel and Conference Centre and finally settled in Stellenbosch where she joined the culinary team at the world renowned Delaire Graff Restaurant, assuming the role as Sous Pastry Chef in the pastry kitchen.

Above and beyond her impressive credentials she has also had her creations featured in multiple publications including the Wedding Collection Magazine and achieved Gold status in the African Culinary Cup 2013 along with the other members of the Namibian Team.

After many years in the industry she has taken on her greatest challenge to date, the start of her very own artisanal cake and dessert business. With great care and passion she hopes to make each and every order a culinary masterpiece that meets the wishes and expectation of her clients.

A drop of art, a dollop of passion and a big cup of love make up the ingredients for the Art’tisserie brand.
